Shelter Me: Meet Patricia from Providence Animal Center

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- In this week's Shelter Me, we introduce you to Patricia from Providence Animal Shelter in Media, Delaware County.

Patricia is a sweet 4-year-old, medium-sized mixed breed.

This loving and affectionate girl was found as a stray and has been in the shelter since January, waiting patiently for her family to find her.

Patricia is extremely food-motivated and will sit nicely for a treat.

Staff at PAC say she is very stressed in her kennel and barks as people walk by, but once you meet her outside, her whole demeanor changes, and she makes it easy to fall in love with her.

Patricia is really laid back and would do well in any family environment, preferably with kids, elementary school-aged and up.

She would love a big yard to run in, but she also walks well on a leash and harness and could do well in an apartment.

She gets along with other dogs and could possibly live with another furry friend after a meet-and-greet at the shelter.
