Sixers Summer Hoops Tour

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia 76ers "Summer Hoops Tour" tipped off in Cobbs Creek on Thursday.

The event is for kids involved with the Youth Mentoring Partnership which provides young people with positive role models.

Sixers mascot Franklin was there along with former Sixer and broadcaster Marc Jackson.

The tour will stop at parks and playgrounds all around the region.

The event marks the collaboration between YMP and the Sixers Youth Foundation.
