Some spent snow day cozied up at McGillin's in Center City Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A popular place to enjoy the snow day was McGillin's Olde Ale House in Center City Philadelphia.

Some folks bellied up to the bar for a Bloody Mary or a beer.

"We typically wouldn't really be out on a Sunday, but since nobody is out, we thought it would be the best opportunity to see what it's like when the city is dead," said Cate Kosko of Center City.

"We're actually moving here next month and had to come down and find a place. It was the only weekend that really worked out for us. It happened to be the worst weekend to travel, but, you know, we're here," added Douglas Wilson of Dallas, Texas.

Customers also took advantage of the bar's fireplace to warm up as the day grew colder.
