Wilmington teen accused of stabbing hairdresser after becoming upset while having hair braided

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A 15-year-old from Wilmington is facing assault charges after being accused of stabbing her hairdresser.

It happened at Fransiah African Braids on Market Street Sunday.

Delaware State Police say the 15-year-old became upset while having her hair braided and stabbed the hairdresser multiple times with a pair of scissors.

A bystander was also stabbed while trying to intervene.

Both victims are expected to survive.
