Truck fire shuts down lanes on Rt. 422 in Upper Providence Twp., Montgomery County

UPPER PROVIDENCE TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Traffic is moving again on Route 422 after a truck fire in Montgomery County.

Chopper 6 was over the scene on Tuesday afternoon, where a Big Lots tractor-trailer was being hosed down.

Firefighters say they were called out just after 8 a.m., near the Route 29 exit, in Upper Providence Township.

Investigators say the trailer contains mixed-use electronic materials.

No injuries have been reported.
