West Chester University police investigating campus sexual assault

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- West Chester University police are investigating a reported sexual assault on campus.

Officials say the incident occurred in a student housing facility between late Thursday night and early Friday morning.

Police say the victim knows the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.

Officials added the victim is familiar with an attacker in more than 70% of sexual assault cases.
