WILLINGBORO, N.J. (WPVI) -- Crews are working hard across the Delaware Valley to restore power to thousands of people following strong storms on Monday that also caused widespread damage throughout the region.
Two SUVs and a minivan were crushed under the weight of fallen trees that were knocked over by powerful winds in Willingboro, New Jersey.
On top of the damage, hundreds of residents are going on nearly 12 hours without power in the area.
"It's really bad. It's cold in the house," said one resident.
Neighbors woke up Tuesday morning to even more damage.
Fences were knocked over, several large trees uprooted, and even a small trampoline was stuck high up in someone's tree.
There were similar reports in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, where strong winds pushed a tree onto a house and left behind downed power lines in that area.
There are also multiple reports of damage in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
Strong winds blew the roof off of New Santiago's restaurant on S. 3rd St. in Coopersburg.
Action News also checked out several additional reports of storm damage in Allentown.
The area of 12th Street and Downyflake Lane is covered with a long stretch of power lines toppled over with wires all over the street.
