Man seen on video with gun moments before couple shot in North Philadelphia
The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Michelle Wilson
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Detectives are looking to identify a man caught on surveillance video with a gun moments before a couple was shot on their front porch in North Philadelphia Sunday night.
Michelle Wilson, 61, was killed. Wilson's 67-year-old husband was also injured.
Police say the couple was sitting on their porch in the 2800 block of North 24th Street when they were shot shortly before midnight.
Evidence markers were seen on the street, sidewalk and a porch as the Crime Scene Unit combed the area.
Wilson was shot in the neck and back. She was taken to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Officials say her husband was shot in the buttocks. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
There has been no word yet from police on any arrests or what led up to the shooting.
The Homicide Unit is investigating.
