Woman hospitalized after being shot in Philadelphia's Brewerytown section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 38-year-old woman is hospitalized after being shot in Philadelphia's Brewerytown.

Philadelphia police were called to the 2800 block of Poplar Street just before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.

When they arrived, they found the victim inside a black Volkswagen with a gunshot wound to the back.

She was rushed to the Hospital and is now stable.

Authorities say two men, both dressed in all black, were last seen running south on 29th Street.
