New video released of 2 suspects wanted for shooting Uber driver in Philadelphia's Fairmount section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police released new video Thursday in their search for two suspects wanted for shooting an Uber driver during an attempted robbery.

The shooting happened on June 20 in the 2800 block of Poplar Street in the city's Fairmount section.

One of the men was wearing a hooded jacket with a logo on the left chest and stripes above both elbows. The other had on a hooded jacket/sweatshirt, track pants with designs or zippers at the ankles and a multi-colored backpack, according to police.

Police say the 38-year-old Uber driver was inside her car when the suspects knocked on her window and shot her.

Danielle, a single mother, was able to drive to the next intersection, where she got help from a trauma nurse and an EMT.

She spent eight days in the hospital before she was released.
