Woman hurt after car flips on Kelly Drive

KELLY DRIVE (WPVI) -- Police say a woman on her way to work was hurt after her car crashed and flipped onto its roof along Kelly Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.

The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. near Boat House Row in Fairmount Park.

According to police, the driver lost control then flipped the car that landed on its roof.

The woman was heading to work when she crashed.

Police say wet roads and speed may have been a factor that caused the car to crash and overturn.

She was able to get out of the vehicle and was checked by medics at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
