National Coffee with a cop day

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Camden Police officers got a break from patrols Friday afternoon.

McDonalds hosted a coffee with a cop event.

Police officers were recognized as local heroes for serving area neighborhoods and protecting the residents.

As a part of the recognition, every officer with the Camden police department was treated to a free breakfast.

Ronald McDonald and the department's k-9 unit were there to interact with the community.
