Police seek suspect in jewelry thefts at kiosks inside mall

SPRINGFIELD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A man is wanted for several burglaries and thefts of jewelry at kiosks inside the Springfield Mall in Delaware County.

On Wednesday, Springfield Township police released a photo of the suspect, who was identified as 31-year-old James Bryant.

Police allege Bryant is behind the thefts at the Piercing Pagoda dating back to October 2025.

In an incident on October 28, 2025, police say $8,493.71 worth of items were taken during a smash-and-grab. Another incident was reported on April 26, 2026, when about $5,000 worth of jewelry was stolen, Action News has learned.

Bryant is believed to be homeless and utilizing public transportation, according to police. He is known to frequent the 69th Street area in Upper Darby.
