LEMON GROVE, Calif. -- A road sign outside San Diego may make you stop in your tracks -- that is if you can make out what the sign says.

In Lemon Grove, a contractor misspelled the word "stop," reversing the last two letters.

It spelled out "STPO."

Cars driving by had to really stop at the four-way intersection to see what the sign meant.

The asphalt sign has since been re-painted.
