It took a whole lot of hands to move two. This sculpture, grasping a piece of the rubble that came down on September 11th, has found its new home in Norristown.
Members of the New York City Fire Department and union leaders held an emergency rally in Manhattan on Monday afternoon over the discovery of previously undisclosed records about ground zero.
The pregame ceremony also served as a chance to recognize the families of fallen and injured first responders.
A solemn procession took place through the streets of Old City on Thursday morning, the 24th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
"The rumbling, it was the loudest, most violent time of my life," said Mark Desire.
