PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It appears jamming on the Parkway and covering the Action News theme was just the start of a memorable holiday weekend for The Roots' Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson.

After completing the 4-hour gig as house band for the Philly 4th of July Jam Saturday night, one would assume Questlove would've needed a break.

But according to his Instagram account, his night was far from over.

"That time I was awakened to come play baseball at 3am here #ThisCantBeLife," he posted at around 3:00 a.m. Sunday with a photo of Citizens Bank Park.

Questlove even documented his journey to the stadium.

"Riding down Broad Street in Philly at 60 mph at 3am to go play baseball in #phillies stadium," he wrote.

Though Questlove didn't post any video of his time inside the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, he did let all his fans know just after 5:00 a.m., it was finally time to go to bed.

"Good Night Philadelphia.....Good Morning Philadelphia," he wrote.

So who won this mysterious baseball game and who were the other players?

Questlove's manager told 6abc.com he has no comment at this time.

As for the Phillies themselves, who are currently on a road trip in Atlanta, the team's publicist says, "QuestLove was at the ballpark last night. We don't have any photos or video from his visit."

So far there is no word if the Phanatic stayed up late to join in the fun.

And in case you haven't seen it yet, here's the video of The Roots sampling the Action News theme from the concert.
