Man arrested for tampering with red light cameras

A man in New York is fighting red light cameras with some camera work of his own.

Stephen Ruth's crusade consists of disabling several of the devices which is illegal.

Video shows him using a long stick to physically push up a red light camera, so it's no longer pointed directly at the intersection.

Ruth got caught in the act because he videotaped himself doing this and posted the footage online.

Police have charged Ruth with criminal tampering.
