University of Oregon runner celebrates bit too early

It only took a few strides to teach a college athlete a hard life lesson: it ain't over till it's over, especially when you're running a race.

The University of Oregon runner was so convinced he had the men's steeplechase victory in the bag, he actually started celebrating.

The problem?

He was so busy riling up the crowd, he never saw a Washington runner coming up behind him.

As the former leader waved and smiled, that other runner sprinted right past him to victory.
