One person was rushed to the hospital after a crash in Upper Merion Township.

UPPER MERION TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- One person was rushed to the hospital after a crash early Monday morning in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County.

The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on South Henderson Road near Sshoemaker Road.

Police say a tanker truck slammed into a car, sending it into a pole.

The road was closed for several hours during the morning rush while police investigated.
