Suspect sought in smash-and-grab at Chester County school

UWCHLAN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a suspect wanted in a smash-and-grab burglary at a school in Uwchlan Township, Chester County.

It happened around 1 a.m. Thursday at Uwchlan Hills Elementary School.

Police tell Action News a suspect broke into the school, took 12 iPad 2's from a cart and ran off.

Police are searching through nearby surveillance video to get a better look at the suspect, who remains at large.

No injuries were reported, and classes were not impacted.
