Overcrowded animal shelters asking people to adopt, donate or foster

It is a growing problem nationwide: overcrowded animal shelters.

Shelters are urging people to donate, volunteer or foster if they are not able to adopt an animal.

ABC News reporter Andrew Dymburt checked in with several shelters on the East Coast to find out what is fueling this troubling trend.
