Philly man creates 'Burden the Bear' after life-changing accident

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- After a life-changing accident, Eric Wyatt decided to create a line of plush animals to help others bear their own burdens.

With a little help, they can 'Burden the Bear' instead.

Wyatt created bears for anxiety, PTSD, and various types of cancer among others. He also decided to branch out beyond simply 'burdens.'

For example, he created 'Inspire the Bear' to promote autism acceptance.

Wyatt's business partnered with so many nonprofits that he decided to start his own. 'Lifting the Burden' acts as a sidekick to 'Burden the Bear,' providing grants to organizations to help acquire their own plushies.
