Made in PA: Rittenhouse Town was America's first paper mill

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- In this week's Made in Pa., Rittenhouse Town made paper that was vital to everyday life.

Built in the early 1700s, it was the first paper mill in the United States, producing at that time, the only paper on the continent. It set the stage for how paper would be produced centuries later.
