PENNSAUKEN, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Joshua Holi is proof that no matter what your starting line looks like, the road ahead is never set in stone.
His motto: 'From Prison to a Life of Purpose.'
Holi, who is originally from Bethlehem, grew up in a single parent household.
"I grew up in a single parent home, ran away at a young age, started selling drugs, " he said. "That led me into a rough life."
After being released from prison, he focused on transforming his life. He got a job, two degrees, and found a community of people in Philadelphia who loved to run marathons.
Holi became a devout runner himself, participating in multiple events such as the Broad Street Run.
He will return to the Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run this year on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026.
He also provides mindset coaching and motivational speaking engagements at schools and community events.
