Woman hospitalized after being hit by car in the Fairmount Park section of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman was injured after being hit by a car on Tuesday night in the Fairmount Park section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Kelly Drive and Waterworks Drive.

Police say a woman in her 70s was taken to a hospital for treatment. There has been no update on her condition.

The driver remained on the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
