
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's hot and more humid as we head into the upcoming week with the potential for the first heatwave of the year.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and mild with an isolated shower possible north and west of the city, low 65.
SUNDAY: Sunny, warm and a touch humid, high 90. We'll be close to the record of 92 set back in 1972.
MONDAY: Sunny, hot and humid, high 93. We'll be near the record of 94 set back in 1962.
TUESDAY: Record tying warmth with sunny skies, high 96. This would tie the record of 96 set back in 1962.
WEDNESDAY: Hot and very humid, high 95. With a cold front approaching from the west we'll watch for scattered showers and storms later in the evening and at night.
THURSDAY: A few showers early may linger well south of the city. Otherwise, it's much cooler with clouds and some sun, high 74.
FRIDAY: More clouds than sun, high 69.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with showers possible, high 70.
