Woman jumps from car before train crash in Montco

BRIDGETON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A woman jumped from a car just before a train crashed into it in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania.

The incident happened after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on West 4th Street near Depot Street.

Officials say the Norfolk Southern freight train struck the car which was parked on or near the tracks.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Police are trying to figure out why the car was stopped in the location.

The rail line is shut down until further notice.
