BRYN MAWR, Pa. (WPVI) -- After being closed for more than a month, customers were back inside Yangming on Wednesday night.
The owners and managers took Action News on a tour Tuesday showing us the extensive renovations including new floors, new electrical work, updated equipment and - most importantly - no roaches.
The restaurant was closed in August after a customer found a roach in a meal, and then days later, a surprise inspection revealed more roaches and sewer pipes dripping on food.
Action News spoke to customers who said they were glad the restaurant was back open.
"I've had withdrawal because I haven't been able to come back to this restaurant because I am a regular there for about 20 years so it's a very happy time for me," said Kenneth Lane. "They're very good."
The owners said they spent $500,000 on a renovation project.
