Construction workers surprise children with toys in Camden: Rick Williams reports during Action News at noon on December 19, 2017.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Members of our local construction community worked together Tuesday morning to surprise children in South Jersey just in time for Christmas.

The kids sang jingle bells with Santa at Respond, Inc. - Pyne Poynt Preschool and Child Development Center.

Torcon partnered with CHS 1979 and Associates to make this holiday party possible.

Each child left with a new toy from Santa Claus.

Nearly 20 construction firms joined together to donate thousands of toys for these kids and others throughout Camden.
