PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Flames broke out adjacent to a set of railroad tracks in the University Section of Philadelphia Thursday night.

Officials said the fire began in the area of 34th Street and Health Sciences Drive around 6:30 p.m.

The incident caused delays for SEPTA's Regional Rail service including trains on the Newark, Elwyn and Philadelphia Airport lines.

The fire was extinguished around 8 p.m.

There were no reported injuries.
