2 dead in Strawberry Mansion shooting

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- Two men are dead after being shot in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia.

Police were called around 2:20 a.m. Sunday to the 2400 block of North 29th Street for a report of a 'person with a gun.'

Police found a male suffering multiple gunshot wounds in a third floor hallway of a building. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second male was located around the corner on the 2800 block of Cumberland Street. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say there was some type of altercation inside of the building on the 2400 block of North 29th Street and multiple gunshots were fired.

The investigation is ongoing.
