Cleaning crew sickened by fumes in Lower Merion

ARDMORE, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Action Cam was at the Parlor Pizza Shop at the Suburban Square shopping center in Lower Merion Township, after five members of a cleaning crew were overcome by fumes.

Firefighters arrived at the scene just before 11:00 p.m. Saturday.

They treated the workers at the scene, before transporting them to Lankenau Hospital.

Two were listed in serious condition.

Five firefighters also had to be decontaminated at the scene.

The Lower Merion fire chief told Action News it appears the cleaning crew mixed several cleaning agents together, resulting in the noxious fumes.
