PHILADELPHIA -- Three Philadelphia police officers were injured during a shooting in the city's Wynnefield section Saturday night.
The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. near 54th and Arlington streets after police were called to the area for a shooting.
Sources tell Action News all three, two officers and a sergeant, are in stable condition at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
Police say they were struck in the face, hip and leg.
The suspect was pronounced dead at Jefferson Hospital, and a weapon was recovered, according to sources.
