Police believe the suspects may be responsible for other robberies.

EVESHAM TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Evesham Township police are searching for two masked men who robbed a convenience store and beat up the clerk.

It was all captured on video surveillance early Tuesday morning as two masked men entered the store, located on East Main Street.

Lt. Joseph Friel of Evesham Twp. Police says, "They immediately went right to the clerk, put the gun to the clerk's neck. Told him they were going to kill him if he didn't cooperate."

They forced the clerk to the back of the store where they had him open a storage locker full of cigarettes.

One robber went in to start filling a trash bag while the other, armed with a gun, forced the clerk back to the center of the store and made him open the cash drawers.

At one point they hit the terrified clerk in the head with the gun, knocking him to the ground.

After they were opened they bound the clerk's hands behind his back with a zip tie.

Lt. Friel says, "They're very tactical, the way they enter the store. They have a plan going in, they know what they're targeting, and they're in and out pretty quick."

Police believe the same guys have also hit five or six other 7 Eleven stores in the area.

In each case, they appear to be familiar with the layout of the stores. They grab the cash and thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes.

Tuesday morning's robbery came after an apparent failed attempt yesterday morning when they were spotted by the clerk.

Police say no one has been seriously hurt in the robberies, but they're worried that the thieves will eventually use the gun.

If anything about the robbers looks familiar to you, the police want to hear from you right away.
