Multi-vehicle crash on I-76 in Montgomery County

LOWER MERION TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A multi-vehicle crash caused headaches for drivers on Interstate 76 west Saturday morning.

Crews responded to the westbound lanes of the highway in Lower Merion Township, right after the Conshohocken curve around 5:45a.m.

State Police were diverting traffic to the Belmont Avenue exit for several hours after the crash.

Police expected I-76 to remain closed for investigation until at least 10a.m.
