VIDEO: Surveillance released in Center City bookstore shooting
Philadelphia police released surveillance video from a shooting inside of an adult bookstore in Center City.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police released surveillance video from a shooting inside of an adult bookstore in Center City. The gunman remains at large.

The incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. Saturday inside the Danny's Midnight Confessions on the 100 block of South 13th Street.

Two workers were inside the store when a man entered.

He reportedly made a negative comment about merchandise in the store and left.

A short time later the man returned, pulling out silver handgun.

A struggle ensued with one of the workers and police say the suspect fired his gun, striking the 31-year-old employee in the back.

The victim was taken to Jefferson Hospital in stable condition.

The man fled the store.

He is described as a black male, dark complexion, 5'7"-5'9" tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing glasses and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with USA on the front.
