HARRISBURG, Pa. (WPVI) -- Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is urging state lawmakers to pass a bill legalizing medical marijuana.
The governor released a video statement today asking the house to pass the legislation its currently debating.
The bill would let a state board license growers, dispensers, and processors.
Patients would need a written certification from a doctor or nurse confirming they have a condition that qualifies them for the drug.
The house began debating 220 amendments to the bill on Monday.
They could take a final vote on the legislation later this week.
