Man shot and killed sitting on porch in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 20-year-old man was shot and killed while sitting on his front porch in West Philadelphia.

It happened at 3 a.m. Monday in the unit block of North Yewdall Street.

Police say the gunman clearly targeted the victim, shooting him multiple times as he sat on a plastic chair on his porch.

Investigators say the victim was under house arrest and wearing an ankle bracelet at the time of the shooting.

Police are reviewing surveillance video taken from nearby homes, in an effort to identify the killer.
