Investigators are also questioning the person who made the 911 call.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway after a reported stolen vehicle led to a police chase on Friday night in North Philadelphia.
Police said the vehicle was reported stolen shortly before 10 p.m. near 5th Street and Allegheny Avenue.
According to Philadelphia Police Inspector D.F. Pace, the initial 911 caller reported that a child was inside the stolen vehicle.
Officers swarmed the area in an effort to locate the car and found it near 2nd and Tioga streets.
"The person inside that vehicle got out and began running. They were quickly subdued by responding officers, and that person was taken into custody," said Pace.
Police later determined there was no child inside the vehicle.
As a result, investigators are also questioning the person who made the initial 911 call.
"The person who provided the initial report that a child was in the car is also in custody and possibly faces charges of providing false information to law enforcement authorities," Pace said.
Police have not released any charges in the case.
