Passengers evacuated from roller coaster at Dorney Park

VIDEO: Riders stuck on roller coaster
Some thrill seekers were stuck high above the ground at Dorney Park in Allentown.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- It was a scary moment for those aboard a roller coaster at Dorney Park Monday when an emergency light prompted the evacuation of the ride.

It happened around noon on The Talon roller coaster.

Riders were on the lift tow approaching a downward hill when a warning light came on and the conductor decided to stop the ride.

Because of the rainy weather park officials decided to evacuate the ride instead of trying to figure out if it was just a false signal.

The passengers had to walk down the side of the ride.

There were no injuries.
