Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured in the Frankford section.

FRANFORD (WPVI) -- Police is asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for a shooting in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

The shooting occurred after 6:15 a.m. Tuesday outside the Sugar and Spice grocery store on the 4800 block of Frankford Avenue.

A 24-year-old man was shot twice, but he managed to get himself to Aria Frankford Hospital.

He was wounded in the thigh and buttocks.

Police found multiple shell casings at the scene.

Area surveillance video shows an unknown male suspect operating a 4-door gray or silver sedan with tinted windows pull up to the location.

Police say the suspect then gets out of the vehicle and fires several shots at the victim.

He then gets back in the vehicle and flees the area.

The suspect is described as a black male, 40-50-years-of-age with a mustache. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
