Sidney Crosby leads Canada to a dominant World Cup debut

TORONTO -- Sidney Crosby had a goal and two assists, and Carey Price made 27 saves in Canada's 6-0 victory over the Czech Republic on Saturday night in their World Cup of Hockey opener.

Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, Joe Thornton, Jonathan Toews and Alex Pietrangelo also scored.

Michal Neuvirth made 44 saves for the Czech Republic.

Crosby opened the scoring and helped set up Machand's goal to make it 2-0 late in the first. Crosby also assisted on Thornton's goal in the second period.
