The Sultan of Swat. The King of Crash. The Colossus of Clout. Babe Ruth!

For baseball fans and Millennials alike, the scene from the 1993 film The Sandlot when Smalls reveals to his friends that they had been playing with a baseball signed by Babe Ruth is truly cringeworthy.

Today the scene got a hilarious update, with players from the New York Yankees showing off their acting chops.

Outfielder Brett Gardner has the unfortunate task of playing Smalls, the kid who has no clue who Babe Ruth is, asking, "Who is she?"

C.C. Sabathia, Dellin Betances, Jacoby Ellsbury, Didi Gregorius and Brian McCann play the the other Sandlot kids trying to explain the identity of baseball's most famous player.

While the clip is definitely fun to watch, we wouldn't count on the Yankees ensemble winning any acting awards. The guys better stick with their day jobs.
