Man arrested after TSA workers find loaded gun at Newark airport

NEWARK, N.J. (WPVI) -- A Northampton County man was arrested Thursday after bringing a loaded gun to the airport.

TSA officers at Newark Liberty International found the weapon in the carry on bag as it went through the x-ray machine.

The owner of the bag was taken into custody by Port Authority police.

Police have not released the identity of the man.
