Restoring a place of honor
A public park in Montgomery County got a fresh look thanks to dozens of volunteers

PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A public park in Montgomery County got a fresh look Thursday thanks to dozens of volunteers.

The group from Independence Blue Cross, called the Blue Crew, spent the morning cleaning up the Medal of Honor Grove in Phoenixville.

They picked weeds and cleared brush throughout the space.

They also polished the obelisks that give the park its name and pay tribute to the more than 34 hundred people who have received America's highest honor for military valor.
