Amtrak train bound for New Orleans crashes with semi-truck in Texas

LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas (WPVI) -- An Amtrak train bound for New Orleans is moving again after it crashed with an 18-wheeler.

It happened in Liberty County, Texas Friday afternoon.

Eighteen people on the train and the semi-truck driver had minor injuries.

Amtrak said the lead locomotive had some minor wheel damage that caused the derailment.
