Police tell Action News it happened about a block away from the University. They say that around 3 a.m. Friday, four Rowan University students were in a car when a male passenger, Gregg Kauflers, fell out of the car. The female driver, Samantha Bolen, kept driving after her car dragged Kaufler for a few feet.
Police say she kept driving back to her dorm. Bolen was subsequently charged with careless driving and driving while intoxicated.
