The folks around Adair, Michigan, are suckers for their Suckers.

Hundred of people turned up for the eighth annual Suckerfest, to celebrate the bottom-feeding fish found in nearby streams and Lake St. Clair.

The Times Herald of Port Huron reports floats, motorcycles, tractors, horses and antique cars paraded along the main street of the tiny town.

Suckerfest organizers also collected about 5,000 pounds of food for local Salvation Army relief efforts.
