Metro-North opening to new Yankee Stadium

NEW YORK Starting Saturday, fans bound for the Bronx ballpark are able to use a new $91 million Metro-North station on 153rd Street.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg says this will allow fans to leave their cars at home, while providing the South Bronx with an extra transportation option.

The mayor dedicated the $91 million station on Thursday, with help from Yankees catcher Jorge Posada and former pitcher David Cone.
