An arrest has been made in the murder of boxer Joe Frazier's step-grandson. Rodney Evans turned himself into police last night.

Police had been looking for him since Peter Lyde, Jr. was killed on May 31.

Police were called to the Pleasures on the Ridge Tavern located in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue on that date.

Lyde was working security in the tavern when authorities say Evans got into an argument with another customer.

Police say both men pulled out guns and started firing at each other.

Lyde was shot once in the chest and died at Temple University Hospital.

Lyde was the son of Peter Lyde Sr. who is married to Judge Jacqui Frazier-Lyde. Jacqui is the daughter of boxing legend Joe Frazier and is a municipal court judge in Pennsylvania.
